DPS Assistive Technology
The Assistive Technology Department supports students disabilities by providing consultation, training and support around a variety of assistive technology devices available to ensure student access to the curriculum. We have a large variety of devices and software to meet a large variety of student access needs. Our website is the center of all of the work that we do. You can request devices or software for your students, sign up for AT Trainings, get access to resources for staff members and much more!
Bookshare
Bookshare makes reading easier. People with dyslexia, blindness, cerebral palsy, and other reading barriers can customize their experience to suit their learning style and find virtually any book they need for school, work, or the joy of reading.
National Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled Downloadable Books and Magazines
BARD: Braille and Audio Reading Download
Access to the BARD web site is restricted to eligible readers. You will need a login ID and password to access it. If you do not have them, review the criteria for participation by reading the BARD application instructions and, if you qualify, request an account.
Colorado Talking Book Library
For people who can't read standard print, CTBL provides audio, Braille and large print books keeping you connected to reading, stories and adventure.
