Fellowship Overview
Application Process
Denver Fellows provides an ideal service year for recent college graduates from any major, career changers considering teaching and retirees from a range of fields. Fellows commit to one school year of work focused on accelerating students’ academic growth in mathematics. After the program, many fellows go on to further their own education, lead classrooms or pursue careers in public service.
Not only will you gain practical and professional skills and experience, but you will be changing the lives of students in our community. Fellows provide individualized learning experiences for students while building relationships to ensure each student realizes their full potential.
Our mission is to close the opportunity gap by providing small group math instruction for our highest need students in order to accelerate their academic growth in preparation for college and career.
Denver Fellows and Relay Graduate School of Education partner to offer a select group of Fellow Residents teacher preparation, licensure and a Masters of Education.
Denver Fellows is an urban education fellowship in Denver, Colorado. Students receive individual support in math as part of each school day and fellows are provided a meaningful service year opportunity. Many fellows utilize the service year as a pathway into teaching or as a gap year prior to furthering their own education.
